$100 Red Light!!

I got a ticket in the mail. Apparently I ran a red light on 3/29, I didn't get the ticket til yesterday and owe them $100 by 5/31. There's no way for me to contest it because they have me on camera AND video,lol.

Am I wrong to think that they should at least give you 30days notice to come up with that amount of money?? UGH.

So now I have to re-arrange some things because I don't want to incur any fees on that.

Moral of the story. There are cameras everywhere, be careful.

    Yeah...sadly I got one of those in the mail right before Thanksgiving. I was racking my brain to think when I did it and couldn't remember...but like you I couldn't contest it because obviously I did run it. Mine was only $75...but nevertheless it was $75 I didn't want to part with. Sorry that happend to you.

    They have just installed two of these cameras at the busiest intersections of our small 'burb. If anything, it makes you pay more attention.

    Yeah, it really does. To see that flashing light makes ya go "Doh! Waste of money for a few extra seconds!" I got one of those and knew it at the time. Sure enough, $100 wasted.
